The NZFCF (New Zealand Federation of Commercial FIshermen) will hold their 59th Conference and AGM in June 2017 in New Plymouth. Also held at the conference will be the Shipwreak Auction where this beautiful piece donated by Eyris Blue Pearls will be auctioned off.

This charity, previously known as the Shipwreck Relief Society, was established by the New Zealand Federation of Commercial Fishermen (NZFCF) in 1902. The Federation provides immediate financial assistance to widows and bereaved families affected by shipwrecks and mishaps at sea relating to commercial fishing and merchant shipping, while insurance claims etc. are processed.
